Jefferson Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Physician Lead to join and oversee our JeffExpress Urgent Care team in The Poconos. This role offers the opportunity to combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities in a growing, patient-centered environment.Job Description
- Lead and supervise a team of advanced practice providers and clinical staff
- Provide direct patient care in an urgent care setting
- Collaborate with Jefferson Health leadership to enhance access, quality, and patient experience
- Support clinical education, mentorship, and performance improvement initiatives
- Variable work hours 8am-8pm (daily)
- Direct patient care hours 1728 per fiscal year
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree required
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urgent Care Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
- Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership or administrative experience is a plus
