Jefferson Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Physician Lead to join and oversee our JeffExpress Urgent Care team in The Poconos. This role offers the opportunity to combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities in a growing, patient-centered environment.

Job Description

  • Lead and supervise a team of advanced practice providers and clinical staff
  • Provide direct patient care in an urgent care setting
  • Collaborate with Jefferson Health leadership to enhance access, quality, and patient experience
  • Support clinical education, mentorship, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Variable work hours 8am-8pm (daily)
  • Direct patient care hours 1728 per fiscal year

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree required
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urgent Care Medicine
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership or administrative experience is a plus
