Job Description

The Group Consolidation and Reporting unit (FRRC) has eight employees and is part of the Financial Reporting, Accounting and GBS Finance department. The unit is a highly professional team and is responsible for:

• Providing financial reporting and information of high quality to internal- and external stakeholders
• Financial communication, including preparation of internal and external financial reports and presentations
• Ensuring standardization, high quality, and efficient processes related to financial reporting
• Coordinate the Group audit with external auditor

In unit is currently looking for a new employee that can join the team as a Senior Financial Advisor. Your responsibilities include:

• Be the contact person from Group reporting for the finance function in one or two of the segments in the Group. The role entails to provide support for the segments in IFRS issues, provide support in reporting and integrating newly acquired entities (M&A) as well as to ensure that the Group reporting process is well understood by the segment
• Contribute significantly to develop and report the internal- and external financial reports
• Actively participate in further developing the reporting processes and functions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Statkraft’s financial and non-financial reporting as well as the financial communication to external market and internal stakeholders
• Lead and/or contribute to ad-hoc projects within financial reporting

The role will report to Head of Group Consolidation and Reporting.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the essential skills to further improve Statkraft’s financial reporting and financial communication:

• Strong competence in IFRS
• Minimum 5 years of experience within auditing and/or Group accounting
• Preferably Master of Professional Accountancy (MRR)
• Excellent knowledge about consolidation and financial reporting requirements
• Experience and/or interest for sustainability reporting and project management is an advantage
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English
