SHIFT HOURS OFFERED: 5AM-3:30PM Monday-Thursday, 4PM-2:30PM Monday-Thursday, 8AM-8PM Sunday-Tuesday, 8AM-8PM Wednesday-Friday, 5AM-5PM Friday-Sunday, 7AM-7PM Friday-Sunday, or 5PM-5AM Friday-Sunday. Shift offered will be based on business needs.
Summary: Perform a multitude of functions for the safe, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of customer orders for timely delivery. Use of motorized industrial equipment to pick, load, and unload trucks; to transport and locate materials; pick and put-away product; replenish picking locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operate motorized industrial equipment such as walkie picker, stock picker, reach truck, turret truck.
- Perform daily checks of equipment prior to operating equipment
- Operate within standard operating procedures
- Use of hand-held or truck mounted radio frequency (RF) scanners
- Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
- Maintain accurate logs or other required documentation depending on the job task being performed
- Follow work order instructions to perform assignments throughout the facility
- Follow documented procedures with accuracy
- Work in other departments and/or perform miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Rotate position / jobs as required
- Participate in department meetings and projects
- Replenish picking locations
- Stock product into bins and carton flow racking.
- Use of carts, manual and electric pallet jacks during picking, replenishment and stocking
- Identify and document location discrepancies
- Follow procedures to ensure inventory is accurate and efficiencies are met
- Participate in department meetings and projects
- Maintain neat, clean and well-organized work area
- Timely and regular attendance
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Ability to pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain license
- Ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) scanners
- Good math skills
- Ability to lift, pack and stack up to 50 pounds in proper manner on a sustained basis
- Detail oriented
- Ability to Identify and differentiate part numbers
- Ability to use a utility knife and tape gun
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Legible handwriting
- Basic keyboarding skills
- Meet safety, accuracy, productivity and housekeeping minimum standards
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
