What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Principal Software Engineer, you will be a part of a team in a very fast paced, agile environment that requires strong technical ability, flexibility, sound judgement and creative thinking.  

You will:

• Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes

• Be responsible for full software development life cycle including development, test, continuous delivery and support

• Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and delivery

• Maintain existing components for our team, will also be instrumental in the success of delivering new feature components to enhance our customer’s experience with products.

• Bring a level of software engineering excellence to our team and assist in the growth and success of our junior level engineers

Essential Requirements

• 12+ years of professional Software Engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience

• Proficient programming experience with Go or similar languages, as well as backend development experience with distributed software applications

• Relational or NoSQL database experience with PostgreSQL, Influx DB or similar

• Robust experience with Linux based software development, build and deploy processes

• Experience developing applications using Docker containers and Microservice architectures

​Desirable Requirements

• A general understanding of Observability concepts such as metrics, traces, and logs captured through Open Telemetry protocol

• Knowledge of Helm charts and leveraging them to deploy applications into Kubernetes
