The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Engineering Discipline is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and test to shape innovative solutions for our customers. Join our organization and experience the Systems V engineering life cycle while interfacing with a variety of engineering disciplines, subject matter experts, chief engineers, chief technologists, the customer, and so many more to ensure we design, integrate, test and strengthen our systems to work the first time and every time for our warfighters!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on an effectors project pertinent to the systems lifecycle.  This role is 100% on-site at our campus in Marlborough, MA.

This position can be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate Technical Intern based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:

(Sophomore Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a sophomore by start of internship
(Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Junior by start of internship


(Senior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Senior by start of internship


(Post-Graduate Technical Intern) - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship


What You Will Do

  • In this role, you will support the following types of activities:
  • Core Systems Engineering: Update, develop, maintain, and improve requirements, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
  • Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments and perform/execute the testing
  • Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
  • Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
  • Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
  • Decision analysis & Resolution: Conduct trade studies and present results to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and work with disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
