As a key player in our Fire Division, you’ll be the go-to expert for service support on our cutting-edge vehicles, including the revolutionary Volterra electric series. Your technical expertise will help drive customer satisfaction, reduce vehicle downtime, and ensure we exceed expectations across the globe. Whether you're supporting contract commitments, aftermarket solutions, or stepping in for critical, unplanned needs, you'll be at the heart of innovation and service—making a real impact for our customers and dealer network worldwide.
YOUR IMPACT:
- Coordinate putting Volterra electric vehicles into service through on-site commissioning and fire fighter overview training.
- Conduct vehicle repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Provide warranty and on-line systems assistance to dealers and customers.
- International travel in support of customers and dealers. Travel estimated at 40%.
- Interact with dealers, customers, business unit leaders, engineers, sales team members and other FSRs.
- Coordinate with customers, dealers, and fellow employees to get service and parts expedited to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Anticipate customer needs and develop recommended parts stocking requirements for upcoming field and maintenance operations.
- Present a professional image to customers, dealers, and our company.
- Manage vehicle retrofit/recall programs.
- Complete field service reporting and database maintenance.
- Assist aftermarket business development personnel with market resource and identification of new business opportunities.
- Develop and report parts and service critical issues.
- Develop and maintain service support and sub-contractor network for local service activities.
- Understand vehicle configurations as outlined in contracts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, automotive technical, mechanical engineering, OR related technician experience
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Ability to travel up to 60%
WHAT MAKES YOU EXCEL:
- Previous fire & emergency vehicle maintenance and service experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
Pay Range:
$72,200.00 - $116,200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
