Job Description

The Financial Analyst for Aesthetic Medicine is a trusted business partner to the Aesthetic Medicine team. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and analysis of financial data and meaningful insights to support key decision making. You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to accounting standards. The Financial Analyst is responsible for all month end processes, reporting and invoicing for the US Aesthetic Medicine business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Month End: Complete monthly close requirements in conjunction with Shared Services and Group Finance including calculation and maintenance of monthly cost and revenue accruals, review and maintenance of the pre-payments schedule, revenue and cost reconciliations
  2. Supplier and payment management: Manage supplier set-up and maintenance; review and process all PO’s and invoices including coding for the Aesthetic Medicine group; develop and maintain the cost tracker to help with spend management and forecasting
  3. Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate weekly bookings report and share with key stakeholders. Prepare monthly reports as requested from Group Finance providing performance schedules for review by portfolio leadership and Group Finance with clear, value adding commentary
  4. Commissions: Calculate team commission payments monthly, in-line with annual commission plans in an accurate and timely manner
  5. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support key business decisions and initiatives including revenue and cost forecasting, reconciliation, commission payments, performance trends
  6. Analysis: Analyze monthly financial data to understand trends and provide insights and recommendations in a clear format to aid in business decisions
  7. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain Aesthetic Medicine budget and rolling forecasting templates and tools within TM1 and supporting systems. Meet monthly with the Aesthetic Medicine leadership to discuss performance and changes to the forecast. Develop and implement best practice budgeting and forecasting processes with commercial leaders
  8. Business Partnering: Be the subject matter expert for the team, collaborate with business partners to understand their financial requirements and the support they need, present financial analysis and recommendations to business partners in a clear and concise manner; build and maintain strong relationships with finance peers across Informa
  9. Compliance and controls: instill governance around finance process and procedures; ensure financial data is accurate and compliant with company policies and accounting standards
  10. Systems: Understand current TM1 capabilities and design and make recommendations for development; maintain all Aesthetic Medicine data held in SAP and Oracle systems
  11. Other ad hoc analysis / duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in relevant role, working with SAP (TM1, SAP ECC, SAP FC) and Oracle
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop financial models and analyze financial data
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Must be pro-active, demonstrate initiative and have the capability of working independently within an agile, fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong communication, organizational skills and flexibility are essential
  • High degree of problem solving, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity

The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
