Commercial Asphalt Paving Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Lead      and manage a commercial asphalt paving crew (7–10+ team members)
• Oversee      all phases of work including grading, paving and milling operations
• Coordinate      trucking, materials, and equipment to maintain production flow
• Ensure      proper mat thickness, compaction, and drainage
• Read      and interpret plans, specs, and job requirements
• Monitor      job progress and adjust as needed for weather, site conditions, and      scheduling
• Communicate      effectively with operations manager, superintendent and project managers
• Track      daily production, tonnage, material yields, and job performance
• Ensure      jobs are completed on time and meet quality expectations

Requirements

 Requirements

• 5+      years of asphalt paving experience
• 2+      years in a foreman or leadership role
• Strong      knowledge of commercial paving operations
• Experience      with commercial asphalt paving projects
• Ability      to manage crews, equipment, and jobsite logistics
• Understanding      of grading, drainage, and compaction techniques
• Valid      driver’s license
• Ability      to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends
