SUMMARY: 

The meat process operator controls the cooking process from hydrolyzing the product to a finished product. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 

Other duties may be assigned. 

Hydrolyzing raw Meat and blood. 

Sizing. 

Running the Machinery that processes the meat into make meal. 

Transferring of hydrolyzed meal to storage.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.  The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
