As a key member of our cross-functional team overseeing the entire software development life cycle, you will engage with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative projects from conception to deployment.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with diverse teams to define testing strategies for challenging and innovative projects.</li> <li>Develop and execute detailed test plans using a combination of automation and manual testing.</li> <li>Triage integration issues, replicate problems, and assist in identifying root causes and solutions.</li> <li>Escalate potential issues (Software, Hardware, Resources) to the Project Manager/Executive team.</li> <li>Track testing activities, ensuring clear alignment across key stakeholders</li> <li>Identify areas for improvement in test coverage and methodology, providing valuable suggestions.</li> <li>Act as the gatekeeper for each release, representing the voice of customers and providing constructive feedback.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A bachelor’s degree (MS preferred) in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or other related fields is required.</li> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software in data centers, networking, security, cloud services, or the automotive industry.</li> <li>Proficient in test methodologies with experience in system-level testing of physical devices.</li> <li>Familiarity with the Linux command line and proficiency in shell scripting / Python coding</li> <li>Familiarity with Quality Assurance for the Cloud Platform developed on private and public Cloud Infrastructure.</li> <li>Experience with API testing, automation using scripting languages (e.g python)</li> <li>Experience building and maintaining test automation for SDKs</li> <li>Experience with C++ is a plus</li> <li>Review and challenge product requirements, design, and functional specifications.</li> <li>Ability to develop, review, and modify Python scripts to enhance test coverage and automation</li> <li>Experience with designing and implementing test tools for automation</li> <li>Familiarity with common test frameworks such as PyTest, Behave, or similar.</li> <li>Experience in E2E testing of cloud-controlled / monitored embedded products.</li> <li>Proficiency in Jama, Testrail, JIRA, Jenkins, or similar tools.</li> <li>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.</li> </ul>Sonatus is a fast-paced and innovative company and are seeking team members who are passionate about making a difference.
