The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RPA and Automation Process Engineer. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in RPA and Workflow Automation development, with experience in several workflow automation software platforms, including Power Automate, the expectation is that the candidate will build the expertise of the organization around RPA development and transition knowledge over the course of the project.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the organization's RPA development practices and processes, assess the cost vs. capability for the various available RPA tools, and transition knowledge over the course of the project. Additionally, the applicant must be able to describe several end-to-end processes they have designed and developed using the workflow automation tools. Position Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement RPA and workflow automation solutions that meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency
- Recommend and evaluate automation tools and technologies to streamline business processes and reduce manual tasks
- Conduct feasibility studies, analyze data, and identify opportunities for automation
- Assess cost vs. capability for the various available RPA tools
- Create and maintain documentation related to RPA and automation processes, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and technical design documents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of automation solutions
- Apply sprint methodology to rapidly develop identified solutions and iteratively improve them
- Develop workflows that include connections to S3 and Redshift, document template management, approval queues, web browser automation, and extremely detailed validation and testing
- Build the expertise of the organization around RPA development and transition knowledge over the course of the project
- Be able to describe several end-to-end processes they have designed and developed using the workflow automation tools
- Office located in Lorton, Virginia and the expectation is that you will be in the office most days.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 7 years of experience in RPA and Workflow Automation development
- Expertise in several workflow automation software platforms, including Power Automate, UiPath, and Blue Prism
- Strong knowledge of process design and mapping methodologies
- Experience working in agile or iterative development environments, using sprint methodology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
