Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

Your role is to lead the billing and ecommerce platform as a critical component of realizing BILL’s strategy. The billing platform provides capabilities for customers to securely subscribe to the BILL product offering and powers revenue recognition for BILL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and strategy for the billing platform to drive business and customer outcomes. 
• Develop and implement billing platform capabilities that ensure scalability, extensibility, and reliability.
• Prioritize and manage billing-related projects, ensuring realistic timelines and effective stakeholder management across multiple departments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience, to align on priorities and ensure seamless implementation of the billing roadmap.
• Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to continuously improve billing processes and features.
• Monitor and analyze billing system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards in all billing processes.
• Provide regular updates and insights to Product Development leadership on strategic initiatives and project progress.

• Ideally 8+ years of product management serving products and platforms used by a technical audience; you enjoy operating on quick iteration cycles while working with customers across a multitude of internal organizations with executive stakeholders.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• A solid balance of technical expertise and customer empathy, enabling the delivery of best-in-class solutions.
• Experience in leading and managing complex projects, with a track record of delivering results on time and within scope.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and industry standards related to billing and subscription management is a plus.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for building great technical products that solve customer problems

• Experience driving impact through cross-functional teams by facilitating critical conversations and making hard prioritization choices
• BS required, MBA or Master/PhD degree is a strong plus
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and analytical skills

The estimated salary  range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role.  Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
