We would like you to bring your RN experience to our team and we will help you grow in your career with Banner!  The Cardiac PCU 3D/5D have a combined 66 beds. 3D and 5D are sister units under the same team and leadership. 1:4-5 RN to Patient Ratios. 3D is a 38-bed unit, 5D is a 28-bed unit and has Hospice patients. Both specialize in cardiac care including congestive heart failure, post-catheterization care, and arrhythmia treatment. The unit will also involve care for some Med Surg patients. Assignments are based on acuity.
 

This unit participates in our Progress-In-Place initiative meaning our patients remain on the same unit for treatment even when their acuity level increases or decreases. We serve both Medical Surgical and Progressive Care acuity patients on the same unit. 

This Progressive Care Unit at Banner Del Webb is looking for experienced Cardiac PCU Nurses but we will also consider candidates with Telemetry, ICU, Home Health, Skilled Nursing, Medical/Surgical or any other acute or critical care background that have a desire to develop and learn!

We are hiring Part Time, for Night shift, 2/12-hour shifts per week from 7:00pm-7:30am, for 3D. You will have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe. Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members. Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers. Completes assessment and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
