Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Core Leadership Competencies:
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute short- and long-term clinical strategies that align clinical services with business growth and customer needs.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire and retain high-performing clinical account executives with clinical backgrounds.
- Effectively partner with Client Experience, Sales, Health Services, Clinical Solutions, Operations and Compliance
- Drives transformation and innovation within complex healthcare environments.
- Experience in managing budgets, forecasts and contributing to revenue growth.
- Identifies areas to improve operational efficiency and team productivity.
HealthCare Expertise
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, value-based care, payer/provider dynamics, and clinical workflows.
- Familiar with HIPAA, CMS regulations and other healthcare compliance frameworks.
- Understand clinical KPIs and how to align services with client performance and patient outcomes.
Client Relationship Management:
- Comfortable engaging with C-Suite leaders at hospital systems, IDNs, ACOs, MCOs, Employers, Union or payers
- Build and nurture strong, strategic partnerships and long-term relationships with healthcare clients improving customer satisfaction and delivering measurable value.
- Serve as the primary clinical point of escalation contact for entire book of business assigned accounts
- Participate in client annual leadership meetings to review clinical program performance and outcomes
- Partner with other Client Experience Leaders to collaborate on strategic goals and objectives for those Top 25 - 50 customers from a clinical perspective
Clinical Program Implementation/Support:
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to leaders and their Clinical Account Executives for servicing key clients
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of clinical account executives KPIs and metrics on predetermined frequency.
Consultation and Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with key clients and the account team and Clinical Solutions to develop and implement clinical strategies and programs
- Provide expert advice on clinical trends, formulary management, and drug utilization
- Work with internal stakeholders to customize solutions for clients
- Keep clients informed about industry trends and innovations
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze clinical data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Prepare and present detailed reports on clinical performance and cost savings initiated by Clinical Account Services
- Utilize data to help clients achieve their healthcare objectives and financial targets
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including operational, sales, and account management, to ensure cohesive service delivery
