About the role

Are you ready for a highly visible role, driving internal communication as well as employee community engagement and social impact strategies? 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  1. Oversight and execution of WGO business unit level internal employee communications.
    1. Working with internal teams on key topics including WGO Strategy, DEI, Corporate Responsibility and HR initiatives.
    2. Maintain and improve existing channels for hourly production and salaried employees.
    3. Recommend best practices.
    4. Oversee and manage future Winnebago Outdoors Intranet website. 
  2. Design, implement, and lead CommunityGO community engagement strategy. Lead employee volunteer teams in their mission to learn, inspire and act in partnership with community leaders.
  3. Advance collaboration with Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action across human resources, communication, marketing and other business teams.
  4. Collaborate to create and drive social impact partnerships and communication strategy. 
  5. Develop measurement plans to evaluate program and partnership impact, participate in the evaluation and iterate approach as needed based on findings.
  6. Additional opportunities based on dynamic business needs.

 Education & Experience

  • College degree in human resources, communication, public relations, marketing or related area required. 
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, supporting a function or multi-functional group.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership in corporate responsibility at the intersection of inclusion, diversity, equity, and action (IDEA), sustainability and community-based social impact as an individual role or within the capacity as an HR Business Partner.
  • Demonstrated ability in communication strategy development and execution across platforms.
  • Demonstrated strategic skills in building relationships in the community and partnering with cross-sector stakeholders.
  • This position may require travel to other Winnebago Outdoors locations and specific events.
