Database Marketing Specialist

Summary

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:The Database Marketing Specialist is responsible for establishing Marketing program criteria and developing marketing promotion and campaigns utilizing campaign marketing tools to extract, manipulate and organize data to support all database activities. Additionally, the Database Marketing Specialist will design and oversee the development of all database analytics and compile pre and post analysis for all marketing campaigns and special events.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: Essential duties and tasks that must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC• Performs database analysis and marketing research, processing direct mail/internet offers, tracking patron and revenue histories and all related information dealing with revenue projections from various programs. • Provides analytical and programming support to assess and monitor performance of marketing programs. • Prepares and executes direct mail campaigns.• Creates all monthly reporting for Marketing and ad-hoc analysis tasked to the Marketing department.• Works with departments across the organization to identify, develop and execute opportunities for marketing through direct mail and web-based email programs. • Extracts and analyzes carded guest information and play history using campaign management tools. • Prepares and maintains annual departmental budget, track expenditures and manage for efficiency. • Leads and manages multiple projects simultaneously and setting priorities to ensure timely completion. • Possesses and maintains a thorough understanding of our Casino Management System and related database report writing software. • Assists in hiring, directing, training and development of staffing, supervision, and training of marketing staff.• Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within department are complete on a yearly basis.• Performs other tasks as assigned.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.• Must be 19 years or older.• Bachelor’s degree in database management or related field; or equivalent experience preferred• Two (2) years’ experience in data management.• Prior casino experience required.• Proficient with Microsoft office Suite or related software; and CMP, SQL Server Management Studio/Query tools required.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is not required for this position

 

WORK HOURS: This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening, weekend and holiday hours required, based on business need

 

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? No

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.
