Database Analyst
Education: - AS or BS Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. - Oracle and Microsoft Certifications a plus
Requirements: - Candidate must be an U.S. Citizen - Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance as contingency. - Work is performed onsite and government site at Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado, CA.
Project Background/Experience Requirements: Primary support providing administration/analysis for application and process management; Includes logistics support for review, analysis and reporting of technical information and development of user SOPS. Logistics support for the project team and infrastructure services liaison
Technical Expertise: Database and Application review and analysis. Position will require analytical skills to review and provide basic database solutions for data-calls/requests. Position executes defined support policies and process support for stakeholders, supported data-replication, and exchange services. Technical knowledge and training will be provided to develop positions PHP Scripting, CSS, Oracle PL/SQL database use for reporting and analysis studies.
Abilities: Applicant should have adequate analytical and [problem solving abilities to evaluate technological and strategic needs supporting the sustainment and support of oracle-based web-based applications. Strong communication skills and experience working in collaborate teams. Candidate should possess strong organizational skills.
Helpful Experience: - Web-application analysis and testing. - Database Management/Analysis Design, Scripting, PL/SQL (ORACLE) - Documentation Administration supporting technical analysis and review.
