PURPOSE STATEMENT
As a Data Syndication & Master Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in enabling the timely and accurate syndication of quality product information and content to our customers’ digital shelves & ecommerce environments, as well as Rich’s internal & customer facing digital platforms. This role involves cross-functional team collaboration to ensure mutual success.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
Enabling Syndication
⦁ Support accurate and timely syndication of data/content to retailers, distributors, and direct to consumer/ direct to operator environments, including customer new product intro forms, in compliance with GS1 & customer requirements leveraging Product Information Management systems. Ensure our products are transactable and optimized for publication to customer’s digital shelves.
⦁ Create & maintain data mappings to ensure seamless integration with external platforms, inclusive of writing formulas to support format determined by customer requirements.
⦁ Validate & monitor product data accuracy and completeness in Rich’s syndication platforms that enable GDSN Data Sync, websites, e-Commerce and other customer product information forms and reporting processes. Coordinate discrepancies for resolution.
⦁ Serve as a contact for content syndication related issues for customer teams.
Customer Facing Data & Change Management
⦁ Create and monitor customer scorecards & dashboards to ensure Rich’s is achieving targeted levels of product data & content performance.
⦁ Serve as liaison to vendors and customers. Monitor vendor performance, billing reconciliation and system upgrade testing.
⦁ Participate in Product Governance Council to enhance data discrepancy resolution, grow data model based on customer requirements, & deploy best practices.
⦁ Support informing & educating other Rich’s teams on data synchronization & accuracy.
Collaboration
⦁ Work with external partners and vendors to ensure data exchange and integration.
⦁ Collaborate with IS, sales, marketing, and product-related teams to align data & content based on digital shelf requirements.
Continuous Improvement
⦁ Drive continuous improvement to position Rich’s as Best-In-Class across the digital shelf.
⦁ Embrace change and support experimenting with new processes and capabilities (platforms, AI, etc) to drive better outcomes and experiences for customers and Rich’s associates.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field.
- Minimum three (3) years relevant business experience. Food industry preferred.
- Knowledge of Product attributes and content and Data Synchronization Standards and Process
- Knowledge of MDM and Syndication tools strongly preferred
- Demonstrated planning, process & organizational skills
- Solid interpersonal skills with ability to communicate in all mediums and cross functionally
- Strong communication (written/verbal) skills
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM or PIM) tools a plus
- Analytical background a plus
- Solid software proficiency in Microsoft Word; intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Excel (including formulas, subtotaling, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
- Travel up to 10% as needed
COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
