The Role
Ascenda Loyalty is seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our Product Marketing team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to derive actionable insights that drive business decisions and enhance the performance of Ascenda.com and our clients' loyalty programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze patterns, user funnels, experiment results, and conduct performance and conversion analytics.
Your Impact
Analyze Ascenda.com data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, including user funnels, cohort analysis, and segmentation.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to drive product improvements.
Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast user behavior, engagement, and loyalty program performance.
Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights and make data-driven recommendations.
Build dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and track performance against KPIs.
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data science and analytics.
Who You Are
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Ph.D. preferred.
4+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a focus on analyzing large datasets and deriving actionable insights.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases for data extraction and manipulation.
