Data Scientist - Python - Jersey City

• Work with business SMEs to understand data requirements and translate them into predictive models and analytical tools.
• Apply techniques in Generative AI and Large Language Models and applied mathematics to develop summarization and question/answer model.
• Present information using data visualization techniques and communicate findings and mine useful insights.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance.

Required Skills:

• Machine learning, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, predictive modeling and natural language processing.
• Python/R, Shiny, Tensorflow, Keras, pyTorch.

Desired Skills:

• Experience and knowledge of SQL, Oracle database.
• Familiar with Google BERT, LLama3, RAG
• Proficient in model documentation and model governance

Primary Skill: Python

Secondary Skill: Oracle SQL / PLSQL

Tertiary Skill: Database/ Network/ Server admin

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 44,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 154,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
