The Role

Kodex is seeking a results-driven and experienced Data Scientist - Product Analytics lead to join our growing team at Kodex. You will drive data-informed product and operational decisions, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to shape our roadmap and ensure Kodex remains the industry leader in secure data request management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable analytical frameworks and models to power core product analytics across the Kodex data platform.

  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and operational stakeholders to define problems, embed data in product design, and measure the impact of new features and improvements.

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to generate insights on product usage, threat intelligence, and operational efficiency.

  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs, platform health, and safety-related metrics.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across critical pipelines; establish processes for identifying and resolving data quality issues.

  • Proactively communicate findings through clear visualizations and narratives that influence decisions at all levels of the organization.

  • Identify opportunities to develop new metrics, tools, or data models that improve safety outcomes and drive user engagement and operational excellence.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (4+ years of experience) or Master’s degree (3+ years of experience) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Math, or Bioinformatics.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis.

  • Experience designing and interpreting experiments (e.g., A/B testing) and applying statistical methods to real-world business problems.

  • Proven ability to extract, synthesize, and communicate actionable insights from complex datasets.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mixpanel, or similar).

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive mindset with a passion for improving product performance, operational processes, and user safety through data.
