SUMMARY   

Solve complex business problems by integrating and analyzing large datasets from diverse sources, including third-party platforms and relational databases (both structured and unstructured). Utilize data mining, visualization, predictive, prescriptive, and mathematical optimization techniques to identify actionable insights. Mentor and train Campaign Analytics teams, assist with training and the delivery of complex client deliverables.   


KEY OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

Key Outcome: Understand Business Problems and Translate into Data Requirements 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with Account Management, Channel Activation, and Integrated Planning teams to define business problems solvable by data science. 
  • Determine the appropriate methodology and mix of methodology, techniques and analytic tools to address business challenges. 
  • Develop and deliver advanced analytic products and solutions, including clustering/segmentation, marketing and media mix modeling, attribution measurement and optimization, ROI/RoAS forecasting using regression modeling, random forest, machine learning, and other techniques. 
  • With leadership assistance as needed, offer thought leadership for project recommendations.  

Key Outcome: Develop Marketing Science Products and Services. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Work with Data Engineering and Software Development teams to perform complex data transformations and establish automated data processing for predictive/prescriptive analytics products and services. 
  • Help stakeholders and clients understand the principles and methodologies behind the analytic products and services.  
  • Research and explore tools and techniques that continue to elevate our Marketing Science offerings in pursuit of Agency capability awareness, recognition and growth, making recommendations to Principal, Manager, and Director. 
  • Assist Data and Software Engineers with Marketing Science applications relying on model algorithms and putting code into production. 
  • Identify areas of improvement for enhancing process efficiency while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. 

Key Outcome: Construct client deliverables

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with Account Management, Integrated Planning, and Channel Activation teams to provide actionable insights, grounded in the client business context, from our Marketing Science solutions. 
  • Present information using data visualization techniques.? 
  • Collaborate with Data engineering team to implement scoring and other algorithms in production environments using SQL, Python, or other languages.  

Other Responsibilities:  

With leadership assistance as needed, ability to define problems, collect and review and transform data, identify and evaluate data patterns and validate statistical assumptions, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, package insights, and present actionable business recommendations grounded in client business context.   

Requirements

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.  
  • 4+ years of relevant analytics experience, specifically in machine learning and advanced techniques. 
  • Expert knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques such as linear and logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks, random forest, k-means cluster analysis, time series analysis and forecasting 
  • Experience in Media Mix Modeling 
  • Proficient in forecasting/predictive analytics, quantitative analytics, statistical analysis, multivariate testing, and optimization algorithms  
  • Deep experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Snowflake, and Azure; with the ability to provide requirements for environments needed to delivery Marketing Science solutions  
  • Extensive use of relational databases including Access, Oracle, SQL Server  
  • Expert technical and programming skills in SQL and Python (or R studio) and other statistical or machine learning tools
