Role                   : Data Privacy Solutions Engineer

Location            : Remote (USA)

Hire Type           : Full-Time with Eviden - An Atos Business

Salary Range    : $95K - 105K (Depends on Experience)

 

Job Requirement :

We are looking for technical support that is working directly with Consumer Privacy Operations.

Since Consumer Privacy Operations is not a team staffed by dedicated technical employees, we are looking to find support to help us in our 2024 objectives.

We are looking for a resource that can work with our backend systems that house data, integrate with our OneTrust and other similar third party tools, support our internal data team and database resources.

 

Qualifications of Potential Candidates Supporting Data Privacy Solutions Engineering:

• Minimum years of experience needed.

• 5-7 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions.

• 2-5 years of experience supporting privacy tools (ex. OneTrust, Securiti, BigId, MS Priva).

• 2-5 years of experience working with regulatory compliance frameworks such as European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

 

Education and Skills:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Demonstrated capability to work on several projects simultaneously

• Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic

• Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

• Extract, transformation, and load (ETL) of disparate data sources to targets including databases, files, and API’s

• Proficiency in structured query language (SQL)

• Thorough understanding of relational data models including third normal form and fact / dimension designs Requirements:

• Subject matter expert in Privacy tools incl. integrations between various systems and modules

• Translate legal compliance requirements into technical system specifications

• Conduct Data Scans for various systems of record, classify the data and flag potential risks

• Support Business Process and Privacy Impact Assessments module incl. template design, modifications, and issues

• Utilize Data Map and Data Lineage to identify and evaluate potential privacy risks

• Educate the business on how to protect sensitive data while enabling essential business functions and analytics without needlessly exposing sensitive information
