Overview

 

Will aid in designing, developing, and delivering modern and efficient tools and business solutions. Will work with a team of Business Analysts in the development and support of internal and third-party systems, product management, business systems analysis, software quality assurance and automation, development operations, database analysis and development, release management, cloud platform solution architecture, web development and UI/UX design. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Gathering and documenting business requirements; understanding the client’s complete business needs and putting a plan into action.
• Meeting with subject-matter business and technology experts to identify and document system requirements.
• Using Data analysis as ways to educate and support data driven decision making.
• Identifying, evaluating and resolving complex data issues and advocating process improvements to mitigate future occurrences.
• Taking information from client meetings and putting it into system requirement documents and user stories for the Development team.
• Leverage Agile best practices to support software development lifecycle.
• Collaborating with members of the Technology department to develop project documentation, UI design, and other key artifacts.
• Conducting walk-throughs of all completed technical specifications with the team to ensure that the documentation is complete and development estimates are accurate.
• Serving as the main liaison between business users and the Development staff to verify that all business and technical requirements are met on schedule; communicating business requirement changes to business users.
• Working with vendors to implement new systems or modify tools currently in use by the Company.
• Providing creative technology solutions to our company’s business problems.

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Information Systems, IT or Business Administration and 2 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst.  Must also have 2 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) working with the following:

 

• The Scrum and Agile development process;
• Data Pipelines, Master Data Management and Data Warehousing
• All stages of a project life cycle, including planning, analysis, design, construction, and testing;
• Visio  or Lucid to document complex business logic/processes;
• Modern Technology platforms – specifically either Tableau, Kibana or Oracle SQL;
• Working with Agile project management software specifically Monday.com or TFS; and
• SQL or other data querying tools for data analysis.

 

Must have strong communications skills to work with business partners as well as technology teams. This is a hybrid position working 2 days/week at the company’s office in Waltham, MA and 3 days/week at a home office.
