About the role

Job Description

As a Data Labs Strategist you will be the data expert for our marketing and customer data, as well as the primary point of contact for our legal team regarding Compliance-related requests. You will work with a team of Data Analysts gathering data from different sources, cleaning and prepping data to build out Power BI Dashboards. Additionally, you will be the point person for all requests on how we manage Personal Identifying Information from our legal team regarding GDPR and CCPA.

This position reports to Sr. Manager of Data Labs. This is a full-time position. This role is expected to work in a hybrid model, which includes two days in-office.

What you’ll do:

You will split your focus on reporting for the Catalog team and on handling data privacy requests and documentation. You will be responsible for gathering data from a variety of vendors and sources and pulling them together to build accurate dashboards to answer questions during the holiday season. You will also be responsible for working with the Catalog and Email team to make sure operational data is delivered to third parties. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining documentation on our marketing tables, and marketing processes. Finally, you will be the main point of communication between our team and the legal team for creating and maintaining documentation on data hygiene for GDPR and CCPA compliance related requests.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Marketing or related fields
  • 2 to 3 years of experience manipulating data, creating visualizations and preforming analysis in Power BI
  • 2 to 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server or related SQL experience
  • 2 to 3 years of experience working with Python
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Data Compliance requirements a strong plus
