Our Global Business Center (GBC) in Buenos Aires was established in 2004 and our diverse and multinational workforce of more than 2800 colleagues have been powering ExxonMobil’s global businesses ever since. We are proud to be part of  an inclusive, safe, and vibrant work environment.
The IT department is seeking new candidates to its dynamic team. The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration thru site development to production.
 

What role you will play in our team

 

• Designing, maintaining and implementing
• Data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes
• New dashboards using BI tools for data visualization and analysis
• Our office is in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with Data engineers, BI developers, and users from all around the world.

What you will do

 

• Participate in Agile ceremonies with the Product Owner to understand and align on specific work requirements.
• Collect, analyze data correlation and integrate data across repositories as per guidance and direction from ExxonMobil SMEs.
• Develop dashboards for consumption of data analysis by ExxonMobil product / project teams.
• Resolve any issues related to the dashboards.
• Write support documentation for future enhancement purpose.

 

About you

 

• Bachelor's degree in: Computer Science/IT/Data Science or in equivalent area.
• Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication
• Main reporting toolsets: PowerBI, Tableau, Python (using visualization library)
• Connectors / Databases: SQL, MySQL, Azure SQL database, API endpoints
• CI/CD framework to deploy ETL jobs in Openshift
• ETL with Phyton with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab Runners, Github actions)
• ServiceNow/CMDB scripting
• Web app solutions / development: JavaScript, HTTP standards, Python (Flask, Dash) SharePoint lists, Self service portal
• Git: Github/Gitlab
• Azure experience: Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions
• Cloud knowledge
• Excel experience with VLOOKUP and pivot tables 

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

 

• Machine learning concepts and algorithm to build and apply predictive models.
• Detail the preferred/desired skills/knowledge applicable to the position: As per above skill.
