Location: 100% United States (U.S.) Based Remote with ALL being performed within the U.S.
Trail Pass: U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented Data Engineer, Cloud Platform to join our growing team! You’ll lead transformative cloud projects, implementing everything-as-code and DevSecOps best practices to enhance efficiency and security.
You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, drive mission-critical initiatives, and deliver impactful solutions aligned with client goals and regulations.
**Candidates must meet public trust clearance requirements
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of technical experience designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud solutions
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN AND RESIDE IN THE U.S. All work must be performed in the U.S.
- Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Public Trust U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as this work is for a federal government client. Candidates will need to successfully complete a Background Investigation (BI) and credit check prior to beginning work. Nothing in applicants’ history should prevent them from obtaining a public trust security clearance.
Technical and Skills Requirements:
- 5+ years of Advanced Cloud DevSecOps Expertise: Design and deploy secure, scalable AWS solutions using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or Chef for IaC. Build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab, integrating security and testing. Advanced AWS skills (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda), Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Swagger, Redis, New Relic, and database management (PostgreSQL, Oracle RDS, DynamoDB). Deploy microservices, APIs, and containerized applications.
- Programming & Optimization: Advanced coding in Java, Python, and Bash for task automation and system efficiency. Proven ability to optimize solutions for performance and cost
- Data Proficiency: SQL, Python, and ETL processes for data modeling and management. Experience with analytic stores for visualization tools like R, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Cloud Delivery & Security: Deploy secure, cloud-native services with expertise in TLS/SSL, encryption, and key management. Build microservices and data stores, ensuring compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and SOC standards for robust cybersecurity and privacy.
- Innovative Problem Solving & Project Management: Tackle complex challenges with creative solutions and a proactive approach to process improvement. Proven successful track record working in an agile environment. Excel in managing multiple projects with innovative, prioritized strategies.
- Dynamic Teamwork & Agile Expertise: Thrive in collaborative environments with strong communication and Agile software engineering skills.
Strongly Preferred:
- Government sector experience, especially with DHS
- Current holder of public trust clearance.
- AWS Certification such as Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Developer
- Terraform Certified Associate
