About the role: 

We need a Snowflake Data Architect who is a data warehouse consultant that can help clients move their on-premise data warehouses to cloud products like Snowflake. They are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data warehouse structure. They develop, optimize, and oversee the company's logical, conceptual, and physical data model and provide recommendations. 

 
Responsibilities: 

• Identify installation solutions for new databases. 
• Determine the requirements for a new database. 
• Publish and/or present design reports. 
• Identify areas for improvement in current systems. 
• Coordinate with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines. 
• Auditore database regularly to maintain quality. 
• Create systems to keep data secure. 
   

Must Have: 

• 4-5 years of experience using Snowflake: architecture, creating and managing accounts, users, and roles; creating and managing data warehouses and stages; and utilizing functionalities like virtual warehouses and clustering. 
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including dimensional modeling, entity-relationship modeling, star schemas, snowflakes, data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance. 
• Experience in designing and developing data warehouse solutions, including technology selection, schema definition, data transformation, and ETL/ELT processes. 
• Strong data modeling skills are required to design efficient and scalable schemas in Snowflake. 
• Knowledge of SQL languages. 

Nice to Have: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Network  Engineering or related field. 
• Knowledge of SnowSQL and Snowflake tools (Snowpipe, Snowpark, Streams).
