Summary

As a Senior Professional Data Analyst at HMS, you can contribute your skills to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve — a community’s most vulnerable. Your role in our mission

  • Administers all reporting systems and processes.
  • Creates accurate mapping documents according to the mapping process. 
  • Uses SQL, data models, data element dictionary and schema to perform data and business analysis. 
  • Works with teams to identify data sources, map to Ops GUI and develop appropriate ETL for reporting needs.
  • Creates reports and dashboards to support SLA and KPI requirements.
  • Presents SLA and KPI reports to account leadership and client.
  • Collecting data from a variety of sources, such as databases and various administrative systems.
  • Cleaning the data to remove errors or inconsistencies, ensuring data quality.
  • Organizing the data in the proper formats for analysis.

What we're looking for

  • 5 or more years of Data Analysis & Data Management Experience 
  • 3 or more years of experience with SQL 
  • COGNOS knowledge 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

What you should expect in this role

  • Remote work, preferably an Alaska resident. Candidate selected must work AKST business hours.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $74,300 - $106,100 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
