The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to perform Data Analytics and data management for our Navy customer, located in King George VA. This is an in-office position and/or in laboratory position (not telework nor remote).
Must be willing to travel within the continental U.S. (CONUS) approximately 10% of the time, primarily to California for trials and occasionally to Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities:
Develops data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading processes using Excel based worksheets and Power BI analytical/statistics systems and visualizations to enhance data management metrics analysis and visualizations.
Develops new data analytic tools using Power BI to provide detailed data manipulation and visualization for the C5I Data team and their customers.
Designs and develop data models and other tools as identified by the CACI team and CACI customers.
Coordinate and collaborate with other stakeholders in streamlining the Data transfer and management processes used to provide and maintain uniformity in techniques for all data from multiple nationwide sources.
Responsibilities include maintaining and expanding knowledge of online analytical processing (OLAP) tools.
Maintain/revise data team SOPs and interact with team members to collaborate and improve processes as needed.
Learn and execute duties of a data extraction and data management team member. Perform tasking as a backup when necessary.
Responsible for timely task completion, even if non-standard long hours and shifts may be required.

Experience: This position does not require prior professional experience, making it an excellent opportunity to develop skills and gain hands-on knowledge in the field.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. (US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.)
Demonstrated experience working on a team in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude toward all team members and customers.
Willing to travel to other Navy/DoD facilities.
Willing to work non-standard long hours and shifts, as needed.
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree.
Desired:
Ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
Will also have prior combat system experience or experience with Data recording and data management on very large systems and/or databases.
Demonstrated teamwork, positive attitude, and provided references.
