Data Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

As a Data Analyst, you are committed to assisting our business users (your coworkers) get the best possible insights out of the data we collect across our systems. Leveraging your analytical and business mindset, you will use your knowledge of databases, visualization tools, and storytelling to interpret and share key findings while championing a collaborative approach towards innovative solutions to resolve problems and uncover emerging trends.

REPORTS TO: DevSecOps Engineer

PAY CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Exempt 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements 
• Analyze data to establish metrics, KPIs, and trends within the various areas of interest for the business 
• Design, document, build, test and publish dashboards, reports, and alerts 
• Assist in the identification of business strategies and opportunities

KEY CAPABILITIES FOR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE 

• Demonstrated analytical skills with the aptitude to strategically identity key components of business requests 
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to identify and/or troubleshoot data anomalies 
• Entry level experience with big data and database languages, such as Big Query and SQL
• Entry level experience with data visualization tooling, such as Tableau 
• Excellent problem-solving skills that leverage best practices
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and internal stakeholders to accomplish common goals
• Ability to engage and participate in technical conversations
