RTD Floater I - 2nd shift

SKILLS REQUIRED

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Able to work in a fast paced environment.

Able to maintain forklift certification.

Moderate level of mechanical skills.

Willing to learn various pieces of equipment and operate them in a safe and satisfactory manner.

 

 

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To learn and operate RTD equipment in order to be a relief for certain machine operator positions in the RTD department.  Perform the duties efficiently and accurately in a safe, sanitary, and productive manner.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1.     Learn equipment and perform the PDC, Case Packer, Depalletizer, Palletizer, and Material

           Handler positions in Plant 3 as requested by Supervisor.

  2.      Fill in for breaks, vacations, and absences for operators. 

  3.     Follow CFI policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing

          Procedure, and ISO9001 procedures.

  4.     Observe and report possible equipment maintenance to your supervisor.

  5.     Maintain positive working relationships with supervisor and co-workers.

  6.     Assist in all other duties assigned by supervisor and/or management.

 

Special Conditions

Working conditions may include working in warm temperature areas at times and around equipment producing radiation.

 

Normal shift hours - 1:25pm - 9:30pm Monday - Friday  and OT on Saturday as needed

Pay Rate -  P3      plus 1.00  shift Differential per hour

 

start rate - $21.50
