Front End Developer - Japanese Bilingual

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer you’ll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients’ hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Translating graphic visual and interactive designs into the presentation layer for highly interactive web and mobile applications using responsive design and development techniques.
• Developing prototypes and performing hands-on coding to develop and integrate the application user interface, leveraging technologies such as CSS3, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript and associated frameworks, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Dojo, and various APIs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 1 year strong experience on Front End development.
• Must have experience with Front End tools – Angular JS, React JS, Typescript, etc.
• Should have experience in web application maintenance.
• Fluent in Japanese language (speaking, as well as reading and writing kanji).
• Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (day shift, mid shift, night shift) and in any IBM location: Quezon City (Eastwood and/or UP Ayala Technohub) or Cebu.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• JLPT N1-N3 certification is preferred
