Trucking & Logistics Sales Representative

Job Summary:

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential customers as well as existing customers to evaluate how our services can meet their needs. This position plays a crucial role in expanding our customer base, increasing revenue, and promoting our services to potential clients. This role is also involved in building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing customers while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identify prospective customers using business directories, leads from clients, etc.
• Contact prospective or existing customers to discuss how services can meet their needs.
• Develop sales presentations or proposals to explain service specifications.
• Emphasize or recommend services based on knowledge of customers' needs and company capabilities and limitations.
• Monitor industry conditions, innovations, and competitors' services, prices, and sales.
• Answer customers' questions about services, prices, availability, or credit terms.
• Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay Starting At: $50,000/yr + Sales Commissions

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Previous trucking/logistics sales experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
