As a member of RSM’s Application Development and Integration (AppDev) team, you will be key to helping our clients along the digital transformation journey with advanced software enhancements and integrations. The AppDev team is responsible for designing, development, and deploying those solutions in a way which provides the maximum value to our clients while also ensuring that the delivered approach will be supportable into the future.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the Custom Application Development team across key markets

• Serve as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor to clients, ensuring alignment of solutions with business objectives

• Lead and mentor managers, supervisors, and senior consultants across multiple projects and geographies

• Oversee the successful delivery of complex software development engagements with a focus on quality, scalability, and ROI

• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with other consulting service lines to deliver integrated client solutions

• Contribute to practice development initiatives including methodology refinement, recruiting, career development, and innovation

• Develop and lead go-to-market strategies, including pursuit planning, proposal development, and thought leadership

• Monitor engagement performance, manage resource allocation, and ensure adherence to budget and timeline commitments
   

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

• 10+ years of experience in custom software development, including leadership of multi-disciplinary teams and large engagements

• Proven success in delivering enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft .NET, modern JavaScript frameworks, and cloud technologies

• Strong business acumen with a track record of client relationship management and practice development

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience presenting to executive stakeholders

• Understanding of consulting economics, resource planning, and service line profitability

• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including architecture and governance of cloud-native applications

• Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment

• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, DevOps, and agile delivery frameworks

• Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing technical teams

• Active involvement in local or national technology communities or industry groups
