Job Description Summary

Clinical Research Project Manager A will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of two or more clinical trials
reporting directly to and supervised by the PI. Major responsibilities include training and supervising research staff
members on the study protocol. In addition, the Clinical Research Project Manager A will work with other groups that support the aims of the studies, such as data management and the biomarker laboratory. The Clinical Research Project Manager A will be responsible for ensuring a steady accrual rate through ad placement and management of the study calendar. The Clinical Research Project Manager A will manage study supplies including study product (SREC from NIDA and on! from Altria), ensure an adequate supply of clin-cards, and supervise payments and payment reconciliation. Finally, the Clinical Research Project Manager A will work with the PI on regulatory and scientific submissions (e.g., IRB, CT.gov, NIH grants, FDA)

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise 5 research staff members on the study protocols

  • Work with data management to create a study data management system

  • Program the behavioral economic tasks using e-Prime

  • Liaison with laboratory for bio-specimen shipment, storage and carcinogen analyses

  • Manage day-to-day study progress

  • Place recruitment advertisements and process ad reimbursements

  • Manage study supplies including SREC from NIDA and on! from Altria

  • Obtain clin-cards, load compensation, and reconcile HSVs

  • Step into any phase
    of the study as a back-up

  • Work with the PI on regulatory and scientific submissions (e.g., IRB, CT.gov, NIH grants); and

  • Perform additional duties as assigned
