SUMMARY:

Join our team as an Operations Administrator - Truck Shop Parts Clerk, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our truck shop. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities that keep each day engaging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Parts Room Management: Oversee the inventory of truck parts, ensuring accurate records and timely reordering of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Parts Distribution: Manage the distribution of parts to mechanics and other personnel, ensuring that all parts are correctly logged and tracked.
• Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors to order parts, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all parts transactions, including receipts, invoices, and inventory logs.
• Administrative Support: Distribute department mail, complete forms, type memos, correspondence, and meeting minutes, and enter new hire, rehire, termination, and Team Member change information into the systems.
• Team Member Assistance: Answer Team Member questions regarding payroll, policies, benefits, etc., and handle employment verifications for current and past Team Members.
• Data Management: Compile data, generate reports, and maintain confidential personnel records.
• Supply Management: Order supplies and perform any other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including using SAP and HRS systems.
