Senior Developer

Your role and responsibilities

Senior Developer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: 

 

• Perform core critical path components. 
• Mentor junior software developers. 
• Lead developers on implementation and design discussions. 
• Research and define technology solutions. 
• Develop solutions focused on driving business outcomes. 
• Design and deliver blueprints, signature solutions, application assets, cloud and appliance based offerings. 
• Write testable, and efficient codes. 
• Design layout/user interfaces. 
• Gather and implement specifications and requirements based on technical needs. 
• Create and maintain software documentation. 
• Maintain, expand, and scale the application on Cloud and On-premise platforms. 
• Utilize JavaScript libraries and frameworks, Relational databases, Java Web Programming, Java Programming and object-oriented design, server deployment and environment setup. 

 

Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing JavaScript libraries and frameworks, Relational databases, Java Web Programming, Java Programming and object-oriented design, server deployment and environment setup. $189592 per year. Full time. H1FX.
