Job Description Qualifications:

We are seeking a dynamic Facilities Multi-Services Manager (Level K) to join our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization, leading a team of project managers and administrators located in Everett, Washington.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Boeing’s Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) Leadership team in the planning, project initiation and execution of facility construction projects. You will engage with site leaders, business partners, project managers, suppliers and have the opportunity to develop emerging employees.

Our Project Management team leads Capital Improvement and Facilities Maintenance projects. This is a key role for business partner integration within the Everett Factory, including 737, 767, 777/777X Boeing Commercial Airplane programs and associated support organizations. Project sustaining work also includes Maintenance project support and infrastructure, manufacturing, and office support projects.

We are looking for a leader who is goal driven, organized, process oriented, collaborative, and innovative, with experience managing major projects using project management best practices.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employee activities of the project delivery team who has primary focus on implementation of major/significant, sustaining and business partner project requests

  • Oversees development of project plans and ensure project management disciplines are followed

  • Maintains relationships with Everett Site business partners, Supply Chain, design and construction contractors, facilities peers and direct reports

  • Oversees and collaborates with problem solving; approves mitigation and resolution approaches

  • Leads team that will develop and complete project/process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals

  • Ensures successful delivery of facilities projects through initiation, planning, execution, and closeout

  • Coaches projects based on Project Management Best Practices and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

  • Collaborates with leadership during project reviews to facilitate learning and demonstrating of common governance/controls (finance/scheduling)

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

  • Leads, develops, coaches, and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, Washington.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects

  • 5+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders

                                                                     

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • PMP certification

  • 5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, and developing others

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects using Project Management Best Practices and tools

  • Experience leading a diverse team

  • Strategic decision-making and continuous learning skills

  • Professional communication, critical thinking and reasoning skills
