The Opportunity

Open Lending is seeking a Cyber Security Intern to join our Security Operations Team. This is a great opportunity to get hands on experience monitoring and securing networks.

What You’ll Do:

• Utilize security tools assist in monitoring of network traffic and analyzing security events and incidents
• Identify, track, and report on system vulnerabilities
• Participate in processes including alert monitoring, log analysis, vulnerability scanning, PKI, etc.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM related field
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience analyzing network traffic
• Ability to analyze vulnerability data
• Proficiency and experience with Python
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
