What You’ll Be Doing
The Treasury Management Business Development Manager at Bank Iowa is responsible for supporting the Bank Iowa Treasury Management program, which includes generating deposit growth and fee income by assisting in the development of new business relationships and expansion of existing relationships through a professional and consultative sales approach. This role is responsible for the sales and support of treasury management services to business clients and overseeing the development of new treasury management business relationships, expansion of existing business relationships and servicing clients and bank-wide treasury management operations.
- Responsible for new sales and portfolio growth goals of Bank Iowa Treasury Management products and services
- Manages a sales process including prospect list generation and prioritization, initial contact and pursuit strategy, identification of fit, and proposal development of new client acquisition.
- Partners with Relationship Managers, CSRs, and cash management to cross-sell appropriate products and services.
- Works closely with Treasury Management support staff to define client profile access, file transfers, fund transfers, etc. as directed by the client. Ensures products are set up in accordance with Treasury Management and Bank policies.
This is a full-time position and typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Requirements
Skills/Experience You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in treasury management sales.
- Five years’ sales experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and experienced in management of a Treasury Management department.
- Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, specifically group presentation and influencing skills. Also will have proven relationship management and business development abilities, ability to identify process improvements with a flexible mindset and a proven record of being able to lead both people and projects as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
