Job Description:

Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for the company's quality control operations.  Responsible for organizing and execution of all inspection activities for manufacturing and supply chain and ensuring quality processes and standards are in place, followed, and driving continuous improvement. 

 

What you’ll do: 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Organize the QC team and ensure timely and productive IQC, IPQC, and FQC. Perform inspections as needed. 

  • Work closely with production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure that quality control considerations are communicated. 

  • Ensure manufacturing production lines generate consistent suitable outputs of products. 

  • Organize and improve the inspection process to ensure high-quality goods. 

  • Organize, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes as needed. 

  • Take responsibilities for training QC inspectors. 

  • Identify appropriate measurement and test equipment (M&TE) tools for mechanical inspection as well as functional, electronic and other types of inspection. 

  • Conduct regular internal QC audits to ensure compliance and adherence to the company’s rules and procedures.  

  • Communicate problems in a timely manner, and report  quality data 

  • Maintain a system for monitoring and evaluating QC data and report findings to senior management. 

  • Generate Deviation, NCMRS, Assists with Non-Conforming Material Control Program; communicate with other teams regarding quality issues and corrective action. 

  • Responsible for the on-time Calibration of all QC equipment.  

  • Other duties as assigned and based on the company need. 

 

What you need to know: 

Experience/Skills/Education: 

 

Required: 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supervisory role 

  • 2 years minimum QC or related experience required, preferably in the medical device, pharma or cosmetic industry. 

  • Experience in manufacturing environment 

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills 

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work 

  • Ability to read blueprints.
