General Services Technician

Job Overview

Clean and sanitize all areas of the manufacturing facility maintaining housekeeping in restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, offices, and plant.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout the assigned property 
• Clean, disinfect, and stock commonly used areas (bathrooms, kitchen, break areas, and dining) 
• Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, and furniture
• Dust furniture and fixtures; wash and clean windows and mirrors
• Empty trash containers
• Perform other related duties within the department

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in commercial cleaning required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and peers at multiple organization levels.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to work independently. 
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.  Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
• Must project a cooperative and positive attitude towards customers, employees, and the Company.
• Must comply with all environmental, quality and safety rules, practices, and standards.
