As part of our team, you’ll work in a dynamic and multicultural environment that embraces open communication, collaboration, and teamwork. </p> <p><br/>If you’re ready to take responsibility and shape the future of telco infrastructure with us, then let’s level up in your career and reach the top – together.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your contribution:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Manage procedures and controls within the area of<strong> financial accounting and reporting,</strong> ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)</li> <li><strong>Technical accounting (IFRS and HGB) for the group and its subsidiaries</strong>, including preparation and leadership on technical accounting papers with the group’s auditors</li> <li><strong>Maintaining and continuously improving the group accounting policies,</strong> governance processes, and documentation</li> <li><strong>Technical guidance and decision-making</strong> into routine journals required during the period end process such as month end accruals, provisions, deferrals, and other adjustments; as well as providing guidance on non-routine transactions</li> <li><strong>Preparation of group consolidated financial statements and annual reports</strong> (including management of the consolidated and standalone results for group holding entities) </li> <li>Support the <strong>internal and external audits </strong>of Vantage Towers consolidated financial statements</li> </ul> <p><br/><strong>What makes you stand out:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>5 years+ relevant professional experience,</strong> experience working at Big4 accounting &amp; audit firms an advantage </li> <li><strong>Expert knowledge of IFRS and HGB</strong> combined with application to Telecommunications / Infrastructure / Leasing business/Financial instruments and hedging </li> <li><strong>Experience of S4 SAP reporting</strong> and consolidation processes advantageous </li> <li>Strong <strong>financial skills</strong> with passion for effective control environment </li> <li><strong>Proficient English and fluent German language</strong> are a critical requirement to communicate with auditors, shareholders and finance teams across all markets; German language proficiency advantageous </li> </ul> <p>Please note that this is a Vantage Towers internal position.
