JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Scranton is looking to fill the position of Part-Time Staff Assistant in the Athletics and Recreation Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitoring the building and enforcing security procedures for all individuals using the facility.
• Be able to pay invoices, reconcile purchasing card charges, identify and track expenses by sport cost center. Answer phone or inquiries in a professional manner.

This position will report directly to the Director of Athletics.Typically requires High School diploma or GED, plus one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal and computer skills required. Flexible schedule, some weekends may be required.

 

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
