Senior Director, North American Leisure Air Desk

As a key member of the NORAM Leisure Sales team, the Senior Director, North American Leisure Air Desk will be responsible for building and managing a team of air ticketing agents dedicated to supporting leisure Travel Advisors and Independent Contractors, with the goal of growing leisure air sales. The Senior Director will work with Direct Travel’s Corporate Air Team to maximize revenue and override opportunities.
This role will work closely with Gerard Bellino, EVP Leisure, Julie Skinner, SVP Leisure Canada and Vivienne Kouba, SVP Leisure US and report to Gerard.
Expedition Expectations
- Build a NORAM team of ticketing specialists, scale based on need.
- Cross train for BSP and ARC ticketing
- Cross train for Apollo and Sabre
- Provide extended coverage across 3 North American time zones
- Create clear communications and consistent messaging for advisors

- Research and assistance to reduce DMs
- Support ongoing development and use of Direct Lift
- Work with DSD desk for directional sales opportunities
- Continue to add new content
- Hotel
- Car
- NDC
- Provide training for advisors working with this tool
- Build GDS training programs for advisors working with traditional GDS
- Build Leisure After Hours ticketing solution
Passport to Success
Qualified candidates must be proficient in both US and Canadian air ticketing and have expert knowledge in Sabre and Apollo GDS platforms. Candidates with experience managing teams will be rated higher.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in airline ticketing.
- Must be able to lawfully work within the US or Canada and have unrestricted work authorization for US or Canada.
