BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
In accordance with the needs of the ages and of the population served by us, the BCBA-1/ LBS will organize and maintain data collection and statistical analysis systems for programs; conduct behavioral assessments and program implementation; direct clinical activities and staff/parent training; act as the Behavior Analyst on your assigned cases.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Maintain confidentiality as outlined by HIPAA protocol on all company related correspondence and communications.

Collect, record, summarize and analyze data based on client observable behavior.

Develop and write FBA’s, treatment plans, and BIP.

Write progress notes, supervision notes, assist direct therapists in maintaining program books, update progress
notes, treatment plans, and behavior plans.

Conduct research on current interventions in ABA on specific target behaviors.

Actively supervise, train and consult the caregivers and other professional in the implementation of baseline,
treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment
protocols.

Develop behavior protocols and skill training protocols for clients. Disseminate this information to the
treatment team.

Evaluate risk management and crisis management to utilize safe and appropriate handling, management and
guidance procedures when transporting or working with clients.

Implement and monitor integrity checks and target supervision in the areas in which the staff needs support.

Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on data and report progress towards treatment goals at a minimum
every 6 months or when the child has met their goals.

Conduct VB MAPP assessments, ABLLS, SKILLS, and any other assessments that may be appropriate to the
development of a behavior program

Review graphs and make intervention changes when appropriate, at a minimum every 2 weeks.

Coordinate staff schedules that are working on your cases.

Supervise the direct therapists on your specific cases at least 1 time a week for a minimum of 5% of their
hours.

Follow direction from Clinical Director or Senior Behavior Analyst regarding RBT supervision.

Promptly report any problems on the case(s) to the Executive Director, Clinical Director or Senior Behavior
Analyst.

Report to child line with any suspected abuse within 24 hours of the report or incident.

Update assessments every year or more frequently, if required.

Complete quarterly progress reports and evaluate client progress towards treatment goals. Update insurance
client treatment plans to reflect monthly progress to be kept in binder until end of treatment plan. Original plan
with progress records should be turned into the office.

Attend treatment meetings and IEP meetings as required.

Modal treatment protocols to staff.

Treatment Plans, FBA, BIP, and progress updates will be submitted with a 48 hour turn around.

Develop and oversee transition/discharge plan.
STANDARD REQUIREMENTS

Must have own transportation.

Must provide proof of vehicle registration and insurance card.
3- Turn in paperwork on time according to the schedule.
4- Must check email correspondence daily.
