We are looking for a Senior Manager with a passion for engineering and the desire to lead an innovative, dedicated team responsible for industry-leading Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT) products. The team is responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and testing systems for real-time embedded navigation and timing solutions for military maritime applications. This position offers abundant opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of Assured PNT systems architecture, and to apply that knowledge in a team effort to develop our navigation products for the warfighter.
 
What You Will Do
    • Lead and mentor staff on all phases of the systems engineering life cycle including: requirements analysis, design, integration, verification, and formal configuration management
    • Provide direction for tasks such as developing systems tools, supporting field demonstration and integration efforts, and providing customer support
    • Provide oversight of the systems development lifecycle and a proponent of the Agile method of system development
    • Manage the resource allocation and overall administration of the team
    • Perform day-to-day employee engagement, coaching and mentoring, and employee development
    • Provide continuous feedback and performance correction, engagement check-ins, and administering formal performance management processes
    • Perform employee onboarding, training, and career development  
 
Qualifications You Must Have
    • Experience in Systems and/or software engineering
    • Experience in solving problems and continuously improving existing products
    • Demonstrated ability to lead a results-oriented product development team
    • Solid understanding of systems development processes
    • Strong verbal and written technical communication skills
    • Ability to work well with team and peer leaders 
    • Ability to travel domestically as needed
    • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
