What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or unusual conditions.
• Support security-related operations at an industrial chemical location by helping to control access to sensitive areas, following established protocols, and maintaining accurate logs and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
