Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising warehouse workers engaged in the activities of pulling, stocking, controlling inventory stock counts, and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work area.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and monitor daily work activities of employees.
- Train and review employee performance and take corrective action when appropriate.
- Review and report inventory adjustments when needed.
- Maintain accurate Inventory counts.
- Oversee care and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Hold weekly staffing meetings.
- Promote 5S housekeeping standards.
- Protect Toshiba assets by ensuring the parts are properly handled during receiving, stocking and pulling parts for production.
- Actively participate in physical inventory.
- Participate in SGA (Improvement Activities) or other duties as assigned by Materials Manager or Plant Manager.
- Monitor warehouse forklifts and pickers.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and leading team members on the use 5S, equipment, and resources;
- Coach team members to ensure all environmental health safety polices are followed.
- Perform reporting and investigation on all environmental and safety incidents, driving to root cause and permanent resolution.

Skills & Experience:
- Prefer 5 years warehouse experience with minimum 3 years
- Supervisory/lead person experience
- Good verbal and writing skills
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing schedules & environment
- Proven ability to lead individuals and manage conflict
- Experience with computer and ERP, MRP, MS Office, BaaN
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and move heavy parts or completed units
Work Environment:
- Back injures due to improper lifting or handling of material and injuries due to improper use of warehouse equipment
